The Archaeological Institute at Athens (SA Friends),

Adelaide Botanic Garden,

and City of Adelaide

Come along on a walking tour of Adelaide, where Aphrodite Rose Hindson and George Skordas will guide you on a journey of Neo-Classical Goddess and God statues along North Terrace in the city, some in plain sight, and some hidden.

We will visit AGSA and see ancient Hellenic statuary and mythological scenes of Goddesses and Gods on Neo-Classical vases and other artworks.

Sanctuary and statuary exist in the Adelaide Botanic Garden. We will hear the history and mythology behind it, and be intrigued with what is around every corner.

Join us for an optional lunch at a Greek restaurant nearby named after a God!
