In April 1941 Hitler launched his invasion of Greece. Anzac forces joined with the Allies in the valiant defence of Greece. This new 90 minute documentary tells the story of that campaign through the eyes and words of the Anzacs veterans themselves. Brought to you by Melbourne’s Lemnos Gallipoli Commemorative Committee, with funding provided by the Federal Department of Veterans Affairs, the film draws from over 130 hours of unique, never before seen, veteran interviews conducted by historian Dr Peter Ewer.

The film is directed and produced by Peter Ewer and John Irwin, with narration by Barrie Cassidy, whose father served in the campaign, and assisted by historian Jim Claven OAM and Vicki Kyritsis.
